It is now ten years since the birth of Goat. Goat, so called because a few of those initial pieces were made from cashmere. A very British brand, worn by everyone from Victoria Beckham, Sienna Miller & Gwyneth Paltrow to Elle Macpherson and Kirsten Dunst, Goat quickly became the go-to label for effortless chic and the cashmere cardigan soon became their signature piece with their three large buttons.
Goat Fashion creates luxury pieces using only the best materials and most subtle design details. And to make this adorable & lovable label even more accessable & affordable Goat Library was born last year promising the same adorable pieces with the same fit and trimmings as the mainline collection.
New in at Getmyfashion, we HQ-girls simply can’t pick a favourite. They are ALL longing-for-lust-haves and we can’t wait for payday!

Oh and ladies make sure you visit our New In to see what we’ve just added with pieces from Goat, Minkpink and Caroline oozing spring styling vibes you’ll definitely be whipping out your canvas pumps and shades in no time-ah I can smell the blossoms…almost : )

So chatter amongst us Getmyfashion girlies ranges from ‘what we’re loving in Vogues recent spring issue’ (edible to say the least!) and ‘what the latest superfood we’re scoffing’ (heard on the grapevine its blueberries) and at the complete opposite end of the scale ‘what naughty treat we’re allowed this weekend (Rose macaroons yum!)
So obviously with all this healthy living chat (not accounting for the rose macaroon!) the conversation naturally falls to exercise and what we’re all trying, loving, hating or learning.
We’ve all be quite the Getmyfashion go-getters for quite a while now what with Malin and her running, Gosia loves Spinning, Angela enjoys Pilates and I’m into Thai boxing- quite a varied bunch you might say and what with all the January fitness bunnies coming out we’re looking for what the new craze is-what gets you girls going?
I’m personally aiming to do a race this year-I imagine nothing beats that feel good factor of achievement so bring it on!
Let us know what you girls are getting involved in this year or even what you’re looking to getting involved in-its great to hear what you girls get up to when you’re not browsing our New In ; )

Just like Lauren, I am going through the annual new year-new me restart process and everything gets an overhaul…well, at least it is all on my list to do although only a few pointers ticked so far. I am slowly cutting back on that lovely glass of wine at the end of the day, Christmas-chocolates still lurking in the cupboard are down to a minimum, the over xmas monthly exercise is almost back to the pre-xmas daily venture. However, the extra ounces around the waistline still there (still un-ticked) and wardrobe clear-out is far from ticked yet.
It is a funny time of the year which goes from full-on spring in the air one day to miserable, wet & windy autumn-weather the next. I am therefore still enjoying my woolly jumpers, my knit dresses and other buys from the season we have just left behind. And how can we be sure that there isn’t going to be another cold-snap before we can fully enjoy spring???
SO… despite a new year, it is not a bad thing to hunt for a sale-bargain. Many pieces are trans-seasonal and will see you through to summer. Pick the right pieces and they will even be good for next winter.
My top five get-it-before-it-goes pieces are as follows;

Details from left; Grey & cream tie shrug cardigan £48 by Yaya, Salt & Pepper Boyfriend Cardigan £78 by Part Two, Pink Dree cardigan £48 by Avoca, Black Harriet Jersey ruched dress £34 by Great Plains, Grey curtain call dress £48 by Avoca
