Jackpot is a brand that has always featured strongly in Diva Totnes. Right from the beginning it was a label that our customers enjoyed and bought into with its simplicity, use of print and colour and great price points.�

Here’s how Jackpot describe themselves.

A trend-setting start
Our story begins with the team of Jørgen and Carli Gry. In the early 1970s, based in Copenhagen, Gry clothing designs began to stand out as colourful, relaxed, and feminine. In her little basement shop, Carli Gry was selling both her own designs and other trendsetting items. Locally, the Grys’ range was the first to offer fashion items made in blue denim. Young women loved it.

Launching Jackpot
1974 was the year Klaus Helmersen brought Gry designs to a wider market by launching the brand “ Jackpot by Carli Gry.”� Popularity was growing and the word was spreading. The clothes were still inspired by simple and beautiful design elements from those earlier, small-scale days.

Jackpot today: classic elements and new styles
Jackpot has never lost sight of the things that originally set it apart. We have kept our individual touch, flair and vision. Hand painted floral designs; a beautifully modulated Japanese colour scheme; the warmth of our colours and floral artwork: these are our unique elements. In addition, we have a sharp eye for the new.

Jackpot & IC Companys
In April 2001, Jackpot became part of a new overall structure. Carli Gry International A/S merged with InWear Group A/S to form IC Companys. Since then, IC Companys has built on a tradition: designing and selling clothing for women and men who are both style and quality-conscious. Jackpot is IC Companys’ biggest female brand.
IC Companys has evolved into the “Home of fashion brands” and it has ten other well-known labels which it sells all over the world.
