I have recently been finding myself getting ready for various social occasions- as every grown-up girl does and ending up in the midst of a wardrobe explosion and rushing out the door and not always feeling completely satisfied with my choice of outfit. I’m sure I’m not alone with this dilemma, so I have decided that I need three Hero pieces-i.e. three items that are versatile, feel-great, fashion forward and that I can always rely on!

So first on my list is the Harem Style Trousers from French Connection-fabulous in grey or black, with heels or flats and dressed up or down.

Next is the Blue & White Stripe Ruffle top also from French Connection –this top looks great with my harem trousers, tulip skirts and I know it’ll look great with denim in the summertime!

And finally on my list is the Slight Batwing Sleeve Top from Soaked in luxury. This top is perfect with my jeans-the contrast between the loose-fit of the top and the fitted sleeves and button-back makes a simple knit-top interesting!

So now with my Hero pieces in place I won’t be facing the dilemma of exploding wardrobe again-what will your Hero pieces be?
