Saint Tropez Gets Versatile

Filed under: All Articles - Aron @ 3:40 pm -

This morning was gorgeous. This afternoon is… well let’s just say that it’s a completely different story. And if you guys are anything like me, then you’re probably finding that the weather is playing havoc with your summer wardrobe choices.

The key here is to have some fun with your light summery pieces during these dreary days. Try layering your summer dresses and tunics over dark denim. Long sleeved tee-shirts are a godsend for under-layering – they add interest and warmth to a look without adding too much bulk and loosing your summery edge. A fab alternative to this is a thin white shirt worn unbuttoned to below the neckline of the over-garment (the one by Sandwich is perfect for this).

A friend of mine managed to effortlessly epitomize this gorge look when we met for drinks last night. She layered her Saint Tropez lavender gathered scoop-neck tunic over the Sandwich purple stripe stretch ¾ tee-shirt. Cinching this in with the narrow French Connection pony-skin belt, she topped the look off with a pair of fab indigo Paige denims and the light and cute black cropped jersey swing jacket. Interesting layering, sexy and a perfect way of playing with your summer wardrobe. Now why didn’t I think of that…?!

See you soon
