It’s cold, it’s grey, it’s miserable… and all you really want to do is wear those fab summer dresses you snapped up in a fit of sun-induced-abandon (yes, it was nice just a week ago!). Fear not, I have the answer (well, three of them actually) – bring on saviour in the form of crop-cardigans – here are my top 3…

3. Great Plains. Tie wrap cardi available in cream and black. Price £39
This is a lovely, light-weight cardigan with long ties and elbow-length sleeves. It looks good both tied and loose.

2. Noa Noa. Dusky pink cotton wrap cardi. Price £43
A chunky cotton knit with half length sleeves and a deep v-neck. It’s warm but the gorgeous colour keeps things light and summery.

3. Jackpot. Hot pink tie cardigan. £39
Pure cotton, ¾ sleeves, warm but not too chunky, and just the right shade of hot pink that seems to complement everything – a British summer must have.
