It’s bank holiday Monday and in keeping with tradition it’s absolutely pouring with rain! However I have been assured that it is going to clear up later!!! This does however leave us all in a bit of a predicament…what to wear? The shops are full of summer clothes but winter has paid a visit outside! We don’t want to spend loads of money on items that we will wear once but unfortunately we can’t predict the weather (well not accurately anyway!). I think the answer is to spend on items that will work for all seasons or that are timeless enough to stay in fashion. Why not invest in a cashmere wrap, it’s big enough and cosy enough to keep you warm on days like today, elegant enough to wear with an evening dress pinned with a broach and practical enough to be able to use as a travel wrap for those long haul flights! Or if you are in love with that floaty summer dress, buy it and on the colder wetter days pair it with thick tights or trousers and boots and a long sleeve top underneath, this way you will gain maximum wear out of it and still have light clothes to show off your legs when the sun does finally shine!
