It’s here. It’s Here. IT’S HERE!!!! The first new stock of the season has arrived on the shop floor, and I must say that it’s looking very yummy against our (newly painted!) walls.
 So what exactly have we got to tickle you sale-weary senses? Here’s a blow by blow account for you.

French Connection – A gorgeous three piece suit, no I’m not talking squishy sofas here, this is a combination of jacket, trousers and waistcoat all in a cotton, viscose and linen mix. The colour is soft grey, so these pieces are easy to mix and match to your heart’s content, but we do have a beautifully shaped white shirt with a granddad collar that pulls the outfit together well, or for a more dressed down option you could try it with the fab long sleeved blue and white striped t-shirt, (Scarlett has just tried this and it looked amazing!) Also from FC we have a cute short black dress with short sleeves, buttons all the way down the front, a flattering square neckline and a belt at the waist to cinch you in. (See it in our current window display worn over the blue and white striped t-shirt.)

Great Plains – Here we’ve brought you some of the season’s basic essentials to get your new wardrobes off of the ground. We’re talking jeans, short sleeved cotton t-shirts in white and green, three quarter sleeve white t-shirts with a scoop or a button detailed neckline, and wide strapped support vests in black and white.

Noa Noa – Something a bit feminine for you here- a floaty soft grey skirt with a fine cream patterning , put it with the matching empire-line blouse for a light, fresh spring wedding look, or with a chunky piece of knitwear for an easy daytime look. The blouse also looks lovely over jeans or tailored trousers, what with its waist belt and sleeves that come to just above the elbow, this has the makings of a favourite piece already. Also from Noa Noa we have a lovely simple black top with a tie on its scooped neckline and long sleeves. In a super-soft mix of 95% viscose and 5% elastine, this is such a wearable piece every woman should have one.

Crumpet – A couple of pieces of luxury to banish the winter blues. Firstly the Cruise Cardi. This is cashmere at its finest. It comes in aniseed grey or dusky pink, has three quarter length sleeves that can be buttoned up to half length and sits just on the waistline. Secondly, there’s a stunning wide tie-dye cashmere scarf in cream and soft lavender. This is tie-dye like you’ve never seen it before. We only have one of these, so if you want it, better come and get it!

Sandwich – Again, some absolute wardrobe staples. A heavy 100% cotton skirt in midnight blue (that I am thoroughly coveting!) The length is just above the ankle. It looks lovely with any of the new Sandwich knitwear – including a slouchy silk mix jumper in biscuit or matching midnight blue, or even the heavy cotton biscuit coloured cardi. These are pieces that can be curled up in or alternatively dressed up to the nines – it’s up to you.

Farhi – Last but not least, my absolute all time favourite! Here we have some slim-legged black trousers, (an absolute must have for this season). Team these with the striped grey and cream oversized button fronted t-shirt for an easy look, or with the gorgeously designed blue and white striped shirt, this is a boyfriend cut with a feminine edge (that also looks amazing with the grey French Connection suit).

There you go, some pieces for you to sink your teeth into. Beautiful cuts, colours and patterns… I’m liking this season already!
