Our  very last ‘Diva of the week’ for 2007 is 25 year old Jasmine Al-Derzi.  Jasmine is a cosmetic nurse advisor in Brighton and says the best thing about her job is the free treatments!  She loves shopping in Diva as she can find things that fit her small, but curvy figure.  The fact that she always feels comfortable and never pressured, along with good service and advice, has  kept her coming back for seven years!  Thomas Burberry is one of Jasmine’s favourite brands as well as Miss Sixty, which she finds almost impossible to get hold of in Brighton!  Jasmine will be bringing in the New Year at a Burlesque night at Digital Club in Brighton, but before that, she is looking forward to her boyfriend George joining her on Boxing Day.  From all the girls here at Diva, have a great Christmas Jasmine and a fabulous New Year!

The application includes three central features:

You rate a featured fashion item according to whether you love or hate it. Things you love are automatically added to a wish list feature, ready to be forwarded to family and friends for discussion, comment – or even a gentle hint for this Christmas!

By aggregating the Loving / Hating score, the application will record the fashionable Facebook population’s definitive judgement on the latest styles.

NEWSFLASH – Back by popular demand are some of your favourite pieces from this season’s collections, just in time for party outfits and Christmas treats.
 In the yummy cashmere department, we have two of our lovely Caroline wraps coming in this week. One is in wintry grey and the other in festive burgundy to brighten the short winter days. Next we have the gorgeous 100% cashmere short sleeve, funnel neck jumper in grey, also from Caroline. This one is my favourite purchase of the season. It looks great both with and without a long-sleeved layer underneath, and works well as a day look with jeans, or a more sophisticated evening look over wide legged trousers or a pencil skirt. Also from Caroline, (though not cashmere this time) we have the return of the funky animal print studded belt. Be warned though, the last time this beauty was in, it only graced us with its presence for a matter of days before being snapped up.
 The last couple of pieces I want to give you the heads up about are two highly requested styles of trousers. The first is the Great Plains slouchy needle cords. Boasting a flattering wide leg with tiny pleats at the front, these fab trousers come in a minky-brown that goes with pretty much anything. I know that several of you have been disappointed because we’d already sold out of your size – well the full range from 8-16 is now back on the shop floor.
 The second pair of re-arrivals is the super-flattering, high-waisted, wide-legged jean from French Connection. Team these with the Caroline funnel neck jumper and you’ve got an outfit to die for!
