Sandwich is preparing for a hot summer. Easy-to-wear modern and stylish, designed with the true Sandwich touch and signature. The Sandwich March delivery consists of a casual and a special collection. The later line is more decorous and perfect for a summer party or an evening out. Both collections are designed around the same colour themes and are perfectly interchangeable.

The colour palette for the special range (March) is based on naturals such as white, chalk and black, combined with ruby, green and a hint of lemon. To the casual collection we have added a vibrant red. The second delivery (April) is more colourful: watermelon, light sky, kiwi and linden, combined with either white and pebble or coconut and dim blue.

The materials used in the Hi-Summer 2007 collection are mainly based on cotton, in which we find new structures, such as lightweight cavalry, dotted lawn and dull sateen. In addition to the solid-coloured materials, a variety of yarn dyed checks and knitted stripes have been developed. In the special range, the qualities are slightly more fluid and draping, some with a soft crinkle and some with added metal yarn for a sophisticated crunch. The prints generally move towards a slightly less romantic look, such as strong graphical motifs in two or three tones. The jersey and knits also show strong stripe patterns, either in two-tone or multi-tone. A printed yarn in the knits gives a geometrical stripe effect.

Pants are back this season in many lengths and varieties: from shorts to knee-length, calve-length and long. The shape is slightly narrower, but never forgetting Sandwich’s easy-to-wear philosophy. The pants are worn in different ways: with a longer tunic-type on top or together with a wrap dress.

Dresses in general are highly popular this Hi-Summer 2007 season with a variety of dress designs in the collection. The length varies from shorter tunic type dresses, to knee-length and calve-length. In the casual range the dresses are belted, button-through or wrapped with fine detailed finishing. The waistline is slightly higher towards the natural waistline and sometimes even higher. In the special collection, a more fluid touch makes the dresses feminine and soft. They are combined with beautiful fitted cardigans to complete the special silhouette.

To complete the overall Sandwich image, a broad accessories collection offers Sandwich belts and bags, together with beautiful necklaces, bracelets and summer sandals.

As from March 2007 the Sandwich Hi-Summer 2007 collection will be available in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, England, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, China and Hong Kong.
