The main features of the Sandwich Spring 2007 collection are the following:

The Casual silhouette is feminine and tough with sophisticated details. Abundance has made way for sophistication. Wash-fading and crumpling give the overall picture the comfortable look that Sandwich is famous for. Waistlines have been raised slightly or lowered and, with the layered effect, provide a new look. A lot of tops have been replaced by a longer tunic. Trousers now come in all lengths and are definitely making a come-back, partly replacing skirts again. There are gilets with blouses, combined with short trousers ranging from just above the knee to the calf. Tops are becoming less and less basic and attention has been devoted to minor details. Prints, checks and stripes are a major feature and can be found in a large and varied quantity. Another major feature is the new ‘total look’ in fluid jersey. The jumpers use more open stitching and tape yarns. The designs are fairly simple and can thus be nicely combined with all the fancy details in the collection.

The Special silhouette is graceful and more feminine, and here too the layered look dominates. A lot of attention is devoted to comfortable LUXURY with beautiful fancy finishing touches, metal-like gloss effects combined with soft washed cotton, sophisticated details and embroidery. Rich fabrics have been used. In this layered look contrasts add excitement. Matt with softly glossy fabrics, supple leather used with attractive sweat, transparency versus fluid jerseys with openwork finishing touches and elaborate tops over trousers with fewer details but made special by the use of fabric. The skirts have less volume than in past seasons but are still feminine and graceful thanks to the flowing fabrics and multi-layers in the lighter-weight fabrics. A lot of attention is also devoted to dresses which can also be worn as tunics and which are a major feature of the new summer picture.

Delivery 2: A light, soft, natural picture of colour with pebble, wenge, clay, blush, soft pink for the romantic and ocean blue and antique blue with caramel for a refreshing plunge into the new spring season.
